Moving, flowing glazes, commonly used under or over other glazes to create reactions and movement. Perfect for the low fire designer seeking to create the looks achieved at higher temperatures. Their variability insures that no two designs will be exactly alike.
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 06 (fired flat over EL-118 Blue Grotto, in oxidation on white earthenware body)
Finish: Produces a more flowing effect and allows the color of the base glaze to show through. Can also alter the original color, creating a new color. Will form runs that can be directed when applying the product, if wanted.
Dinnerware Safe: Yes (When properly applied and fired to proper cone).
BELOW:
Cone: 6 (fired flat over EL-118 Blue Grotto, in oxidation on white stoneware body)
Finish: Transparent with crazing. Color clear with a slight tint of light blue. (Surface issues may occur.)
