Moving, flowing glazes, commonly used under or over other glazes to create reactions and movement. Perfect for the low fire designer seeking to create the looks achieved at higher temperatures. Their variability insures that no two designs will be exactly alike.
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 06 (fired flat over EL-118 Blue Grotto, in oxidation on white earthenware body)
Finish: Intermingles with the other glazes being used, introducing pure white to the colors used, blending with the color.
Dinnerware Safe: Yes (When properly applied and fired to proper cone).
BELOW:
Cone: 6 (fired flat over EL-118 Blue Grotto, in oxidation on white stoneware body)
Finish: Transparent. Color clear with white float. (Surface issues may occur.)
