SW301- Iron Wash

A highly concentrated metallic glaze colorants, which are formulated for ease of use and versatility. Washes can be used alone for staining techniques or with any glaze from low-fire (cone 05/06), mid-range (cone 5/6), and cone 10 in oxidation or reduction. (Do your own tests). Work great for stenciling, stamping and silkscreening as it is a very stable product.
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 06 (fired flat, in oxidation, on white earthenware body)
Finish: Opaque deep rust red with a slight sheen when applied fully concentrated. This product will leave red body staining when wiped away. Little to no movement when used alone or in combination.
Dinnerware safe: Yes (If used with a dinnerware safe clear glaze).
BELOW:
